Visit of Chinese Hebei Commerce Department to Zuid-Holland
On 4 September Hebei Commerce Department, Mr. Qian Jiang, Head of Investment & Business Promotions Division at Hebei Commerce Department and his delegation were received by Mr. Jean-Christophe Spapens, Head of EU-International Affairs Bureau at Province of Zuid-Holland.
Mr. Spapens opened the meeting by welcoming the Chinese delegation and he emphasized to look forward to good conversations for further intensifying of the collaboration. Earlier successes, for example with horticulture, have proven that both parties can offer each other value. The two provinces create a good platform for companies to cooperate. This results in a mutual beneficial relationship.
During the talk at the meeting, the cities Zhangjiakou, Cangzhou and Xingtai were presented in detail. The local industries, infrastructure, travel time to Beijing, investment possibilities and the growing popularity of the cities passed by.
Another important subject was the hosting of the 2022 Winter Olympics by Zhangjiakou. The development of the preparation was showed. Together with all the new facilities in the city.all the new facilities in the city.

InnovationQuater, HR Savvy, La Gro Geelkerken and De Rijke Logistics presented the possible support they could offer Chinese companies for doing business in Europe or especially The Netherlands. The exchange of information is another step into possible collaboration with Chinese companies.
